rom today you can download a new piece of software for your handset: bliinGPSXS.

bliinGPSXS is a free and easy applet that connects to your internal - or external Bluetooth - GPS and sends your location to bliin to get you Live!. Just like bliinGPSXS for desktop computers (Mac or Windows) the software is made for Live! usage in your browser environment.

Point your mobile web browser to: m.bliin.com and select download. Alternatively you can download the software from our website and bluetooth it to your handset.

Installation & operation instructions:
download: point your mobile web browser to m.bliin.com select download. the file will download to your selected location.
start: point to the application and start bliinGPSXS. select Yes to ‘Allow internet access’ prompt
account: on first time use the app will ask your username and password (you must be registered at bliin). enter and select save
search GPS: select your device and save; select Yes to ‘Allow connectivity’ prompt. Make sure your external GPS is switched on before search!
searching satellites: your GPS receiver finds enough satellites to pinpoint location (minimum of 4)
Live!: enough satellites found, you are Live! on bliin

bliinGPSXS for handsets (V0.9) features:
versions: for internal & external GPS
send interval: 15 seconds, 15 minutes, manual. Shave data costs with setting these options … particularly when roaming abroad!
web: fires up your default mobile web-browser … beware: not always the best choice. EG: most NOKIA’s have a Services browser and a Web-browser. Older models take the Services browser as default; which is too bad as it does not support the CSS on m.bliin.com. Also try the free Opera Mini browser, we think it’s great.
minimize: brings bliinGPSXS to the background so you can enjoy other phone functionalities (Application background is NOT supported on NOKIA S40 series, Samsung and Motorola V3)
