argIM Babelfish is a totally free mobile application that you install on your Java-enabled phone and it allows word and phrase translation between several languages:

* English-Spanish
* English-Portuguese
* English-German
* English-French
* English-Italian
* Spanish-English
* Portuguese-English
* German-English
* French-English
* Italian-English

The application is extremely small, because translations are performed online by the argIM server using your GPRS data connection. The GPRS traffic usage is minimum, translating many phrases may consume normally less than 5 KB.
