welcome to my world

Welcome to my world.
Where shanks and Macs.
Are used to settle dispute.
Where the truth is far from the mouths of the youth.
Slowly we are caressing the very things
We were brought up to hate
It baffles me and those like me
The percentage of the young ones who stay on the straight and narrow.

When in fact we are to blame
We are killing the fruit of our ancestors labour
There hands burned for our freedom
Yet we rebel against our familiar spirit
And turn to the enmity
Drawn in by the evil in the unknown
Slowly our generation is extracting the godliness
Gorging our selves with the demonic
What then do we expect from those who look up to us
Those who follow our foot steps
But once again we can entwine our selves
In the beauty of what we have grown to despise
By the simple way of following the fruits of the spirit
That can reengage us with what was known and for sake the once unknown.
