Walter D. Petrovic
your head?To the sky, and you'll shout? And everything will be dead.
"IN MEMORY"
Never look back,
Your past can be
Your future's end!
"HEATED-UP"
Life in heat?Fried to the brink? In musked oil,?Sending men of wisdom?Into their final retreat.
"I - SEE"
IIn?a wayward restless dream-seek?Find that all is just illusion? And the whole world is people-meek,?To their own disillusions.?Confused, from start to end?And never regaining theirs,?Never again a love, to sendSo?soon their souls do tare.?No more kind words to selves,?Mankind has seen to that? All live in magic worlds of elves? That are clouded, red and flat.
"WINNING"
The table-cloth was raised? And the people ran to it.?It stayed for years, without a change?-"First!" - meant all the praise.
"EXISTING"
What life can be,?If only given half a chance,?To live it properly-now,?And with happiness.
"ONE MINUTE AT MEGIDDO"
Behold the smoke hovering?O'er the distant fields? It's faint, yet still there and rising.?A sickly and honey-sweet scent?Burning fresh,?Mingled odours of jasmine leaves? And of rotting flesh.?A still and rising mist?Like incense smoke, burning? As from the ancient wisemen's kegs of myrrh.
In the midst of heat? The warriors battle-intensely.?T'is the moment . . . Armageddon.?The groans of dying young men, heard.?Their clanging blades, on broken shields,?Scratching and grinding,?Sounds of the cold edges?Cutting deep and certain.?With oozing blood,?Inhibiting all the sides, in pools,?Of wet and gooey redness,?Cling-ons to all things.?The vapour rising into winds? From hot blood, on blades,?Forced out of young bodies?Sharpness of tempered steel? And, when all ends,?Bodies are still? And never move again.?"LOOK OUT!"
Look out!?Don't let your hopes fail.?Guard them well.?Accidentally let them go?And you can wind up in Hell.?Look out!
"DESIRE"
Desire holds us in its grasp? It never lets us go.?In loving hugs and lusty clasps?Lets loveless feelings grow.
In summer's heated passions?By love are kept so cool? And in winter's freezing slash?Again, all the play the fool.
Heartbreaks come in punches?Everyone has felt the pains,?You can't love life by hunches?Your heart can't bind, like chains.
Desire won't be shackled.
"BLACKENED SHADOWS"
The sun is darkened? In My days.?The stars don't shine? In My life.?Living in a hidden darkness? Is more than Man can bare.
To see the light of seasoned lovers, pass,?In brightness-seldom dreamed,
By a lonely heart,?To reach for some golden substance? That never seems there,?And can never be.
"MENAGERIE"
You lie in waking plays? In a sleepless, weeping dream,?To find in mirrored destinies?Your loves, hates, your miseries.
Compounded by awesome truths?Which echo through mind's empty booths.?Where all your fears are championed? And all your confidences fail.
In the hidden pockets and locked vaults,?It hides and breeds, it never halts.?Destiny, so it has greatly changed,?For all men, women and immorals.
Until the day the world can see?Divinity, and know it for its truths,?When voices cry from weakened souls? And the hearts hesitate to welcome right.?In retrospective mists they behold? The same young man that died before.
"CHANGE"
Flow peaceful waters? For all eternity?Waging nature's war?Without man's stupidity.?Destroying for the growth? And not for its own sake.?Change for world's betterment? And not for man's delight.?Changing all for his own greed? And giving nothing in return?Hoping soon his immortality?Attained through love, from God?Unnatural is his hypocrisy?Deploring is his pride,?Never-ending, despising, thoughts?Until the end finally arrives.
"NEARING END"
Splitting parts, of an endless dream?Things aren't always what they seem.?Asking questions, devoid of answers?See morals of people, is the cancer.
There-growth of hate and piety?Resonates in prophesies to be?Of the only Saviour?Who found he's been at the edge?Of temptation and of sin.
Accepted by the heart of God?The lone man builds a shanty, with sod?His temple he places within those walls? And carries his cross down barren halls.
With darkness giving way to light?Blind men joy at their newfound sight? They kneel on stones and raise their hands? Then turn and they curse the other man's.
The rest all hear the gaily laughter?Of those who drink, and sleep thereafter,?Lives so turned away from right? They'll never know the final Light.
"REACTIONS"
Aggressive natures level off?Killing isn't right.?If things can't change with a smile?They can't change with a fight.
Love of people getting thin? They scorn their fellow man?To all, a rage-shown in their eyes? And never a friendly grin.
Man's ever-growing senility?Always shuns life from its truth.?He'll hide within his hollow mind? And praise his evil kind.
"INITIATE EGO"
In a reproach of winter? To the coldness of its days?In night-snows frozen blanket? And mornings' kindness sways.
The children's carols say it?The season brings us truce? The ladies all look quainter? And they all await good news.
In the brumal scented skies? There's still a sense of life? When all in loving calmness sit?And try to work out strife.
Near ends, of yearly solar pass? The same remains in routine?Seeing everyone's heart of glass? And voices in their painful screams.
Nothing changes in thoughts of men,?Always counting on the worst?Letting everyone's hearts to harden?By having them believe they're first
? The initiate ego.
"TO BE"
Only the One, can imagine? What thoughts another bares.?Deep rooted love, lingering? In caverns of doubt and mazes?Where-from the mind acts?Does work and pray?To be with their loved ones?Every second of the day.
"LACK OF UNDERSTANDING: A REACTION"
What a feeling, one has.
He sees and knows truthWhat?the world thinks of him?As the worst dirt of the earth.?Yet-he kisses their asses.?Yet-he does little wrong.?Yet-he goes nowhere.?Yet-he is always miserable .
