The Globe and Mail is Canada's authoritative source for news, commentary and analysis. Our new Android app delivers up-to-the-minute breaking news as well as access to the full range of content from across The Globe.
Update (Feb 8th, 2012):Apologies for the ad issues on the Ice Cream Sandwich devices. We have identified the problem and a fix is forthcoming. We hope to release an update very shortly, which will include:

PLEASE NOTE: This application is a pre-release public BETA. We are making it available early for download and use so that we can gather your feedback.
While the app has been thoroughly tested and should run smoothly on all Android phones with version 2.2 and above, there may be some bugs.
If you wish to test the application please do so with the understanding that it is not yet complete and that some features are missing.
The following features are not yet available, but should be added shortly:

- Sharing tools (Facebook, email, Twitter, etc…)
- Offline reading
- Text resizing
- Weather
